Fermium was first discovered by a team of scientists with the leadership of Alberto Ghiorso in 1950s while studying radioactive debris produced by the detonation of the first hydrogen bomb. There are no known facts about the physical properties of fermium nor do we know anything about its uses as only very little amounts of the element has been produced so far.
